Manager, Strategic Sales & BD

Responsibilities:
  • Establishment of key direct and distributorship partnerships (through marketing, channel development and direct sales strategies) in Mumbai and rest of India
  • High-involvement in direct sales and customer service of shared and advanced internet hosting solutions, being accountable for full sales cycle, customer-facing enquiries, contract negotiations and closing of sales
  • Cultivate and enhance existing sales base to achieve growth through marketing and customer service management
Requirements:
  • Minimum tertiary education with a good degree or diploma
  • Strong networking skills, business acumen and ability to build contacts and develop new relationships quickly and easily
  • Some working experience in the Internet Hosting, ISP or Telecommunications industry preferred
  • 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Self-motivation, results-oriented, able to strategise creatively and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing industry
  • Sales-driven and customer-relationship focused with good negotiation skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write business correspondence, and the ability to make effective presentations to management-level clientele

Sales and Customer Service Executive

Responsibilities:
  • Engage in outbound calls to create new customer bases with attractive incentives
  • Identify and forge relationships with large-scale channel partners and markets
  • Handling incoming sales and customer service calls
  • Providing quotations and sales fee information
  • Liaising with headquarters/technical departments for customer service related matters
Requirements:
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to engage in conversations at any level
  • A friendly phone personality
  • Possessing an instinct for sales and sales-driven targets
  • Self-motivation and the ability to complete projects independently
  • Some working experience in the following areas would be preferred: tele-marketing/callcenter in sales capacity, webhosting or ISP in customer care capacity, IT channels/distribution

Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Handle, troubleshoot and resolve problems and requests from customers through the company's CRM system.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the company's Unix-range and Windows-range servers such as ensuring smooth running of all the servers, including setting up for both virtual (shared) hosting and dedicated hosting.
  • Manage, monitor and troubleshoot all the servers on Linux, BSDI, Solaris, Windows NT/2000/2003 systems and make sure that services such as SMTP, POP3, HTTP, FTP, SSH and database servers are up and running.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional degree in Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication), Computer Science/IT, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' working experience in the Internet service related industry. (ISP experience preferred).
  • Knowlege of Unix system administration on platforms like Linux and Solaris or BSD.
  • A good understanding of Internet applications related protocols / services / issues like DNS, Mail routing and troubleshooting, spam and antivirus issue, security/firewall.
  • Knowledge of email and web server applications like Apache, IIS, Dmail, Sendmail/Qmail will be of added advantage.
  • Knowledge of any of the following will be of added advantage : Shell script, Perl, CGI, HTML, MySQL/ MSSQL, PHP, JSP/ Servlets, ASP, FrontPage and Coldfusion.
